Information we collect

When you submit the enquiry form, we collect your name, company, email address, telephone number, selected application, the project information you provide and the site page or enquiry link that led you to the form.

Like most websites, the hosting server may also keep technical access logs containing an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, and the date and time of a request. These logs are separate from the enquiry email.

Why we use it

Oxford Industrial Automation uses enquiry details to assess and respond to your automation enquiry, communicate about the project, understand which site content led to the enquiry and keep an appropriate business record of that communication. Technical logs are used to operate, diagnose and protect the website.

How it is stored

Form submissions are sent over HTTPS to Oxford Industrial Automation by email and may be retained in normal business and email records. The enquiry email does not include your IP address or browser details. Hosting and email service providers may process information only as needed to deliver, operate and protect those services. We do not sell enquiry details.

Browser storage

The site uses session storage in your browser to count visible browsing time and remember whether the project prompt has already been shown or dismissed. It is not used for advertising, is not included in an enquiry and normally ends with the browser tab or session.

Retention and your choices

We retain enquiry information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the project discussion, related business records and applicable legal obligations. You may ask us to correct or delete your details where the law permits.
